Wedding

Becca & Ben | The Palm Tree Barn | Norwalk, Ohio

Becca & Ben had a beautiful, sunny day for their wedding on August 11th. It was absolutely perfect! I am so blessed to know this couple. They are so kind, so sweet, and so wonderful. The love they have for each other and God is something to admire. See their engagement session HERE to learn about how they met!
I hope you enjoy a preview of their wedding day!

Ben and his groomsmen got ready at his parent's beautiful farm home. Becca made the floral arrangements for the day.

Ben says he's been wearing bow ties for a long time. He joked he could tie them in his sleep or with his eyes closed. When I asked him to put his brothers tie on for a photo, he couldn't lol. He said he didn't know how to do other ties. We had a laugh about that. It was certainly fitting he wore a bow tie for his wedding day then!

Once the groom was ready it was time for me to head over to the venue, The Palm Tree Barn, in Norwalk, Ohio. It's a newly opened venue and it did not disappoint for my first time shooting there! They have an absolute gorgeous water wheel that they have decorated. It made the perfect backdrop for hanging Becca's gorgeous David Tutera wedding dress.

Can we talk about this jaw dropping mirror? I WISH I could have taken it home with me! It was stunning. Becca's hair and make up artist did a beautiful job!

Becca's mom Amy helped  her get in to her dress.

FBPREVIEWBB8

The Maid of Honor helped put her veil on and they shared a sweet 'You're a Bride' moment! And the tears welled up.

FBPREVIEWBB9

& it was time for the ceremony to begin! They had these cute fans, which came in handy for guests.

FBPREVIEWBB12

Ben was overcome with emotion and tears of happiness as Becca walked down with her father.

Their ceremony was sweet and faith driven. The Pastor spoke of the Covenant they were making before God. Their strong faith has brought them together and will keep them together in the time to come. They took communion as well.

They had a moment in their ceremony after communion where they presented their mothers with flowers. It was so beautiful the way they thanked them. There wasn't a dry eye when this moment happened. Mine were pouring down tears. It was beautiful and moving.

The ceremony was finished & they had their FIRST KISS AS HUSBAND AND WIFE!
Mr & Mrs Benjamin Daneker!!!

We did family formals first so the parents and grandparents could relax and enjoy a drink and some treats! And it was time for bridal party & the couples portraits!

Becca & Ben couldn't stop smiling and kissing and enjoying the moment when we were taking pictures. They were so wonderful. You can see the love they have for each other. It was lovely to capture these moments. The Palm Tree Barn had the perfect path for portraits.

The ring Becca wore on her right hand was her 'something blue' and belonged to her Great Grandmother, so she asked to make sure I incorporated it in a few shots.

A little cousin of theirs wandered down with one of their fans from the ceremony & I asked him to borrow it. He gave me the inspiration for this next one!

Time for dinner & the reception! Baby's breath filled mason jars and tea lights set the mood for a sweet, but simple and elegant table setting. The seating chart was absolutely gorgeous! The details from this wedding were so beautiful.

They had over 200 dozen desserts! Cookies, puppy chow, turn overs, you name it! It was a sweet lovers dream! I loved being able to use the treats for a ring shot! I like unique and fun ways to use the rings!

The best man gave an incredibly sweet yet super funny speech! And the couple shared a small cake for their cake cutting moment! I definitely did not expect these two sweet people to smash the cake in each other's faces like they did. BUT they did and it was GREAT!

Dinner finished and the dancing started! Becca & Ben enjoyed their first dance as Mr & Mrs to "The One" by Kodaline.

FBPREVIEWBB39

Becca also had a dance with her father. I loved being able to capture her mother's sweet emotional moment watching them dance. It was beautiful, and moved me to tears. Becca also made a speech that her Grandfather promised to dance with her at her wedding. He battled with cancer and there was a moment he wasn't sure it would happen. Well, it did and he was beyond happy to do it for her. He smiled and stared adoringly at her the whole time.
Ben danced with his mom, but also surprised his little sister and danced with her to "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story. It was so sweet!

I snuck the couple out for a few sunset photos, although the corn fields were so high we barely made last light! But I'm so glad we did, I love these images. Becca is so beautiful. And they had so much fun during these few minutes!
